Macomb Community College University Center Expands Again
September 2007: University Center III at Macomb Community College opens doors
First New High School
September 2007: South Lyon East High School, was IDS’ first new high school. After working on multiple bonds for the district in 1997, 2000 and 2003, IDS was commissioned to design the district’s second high school. The school opened doors to students in September 2007, and was designed with a career-focused, collaborative learning style approach.
Dan Christensen Retires
One of the original GHB Partners, Dan was Vice President and Director of Construction Administration Services. He served significant IDS clients for over 22 years in both the university and commercial markets. He decided to hang his retirement shingle Up North where he grew up and left his heart. He plans to stay engaged in both of his ‘home’ communities — northern Michigan and down state, and is always on the hunt for big game adventures.
UM Stockwell Residence Hall Renovations
November 20, 2006: Commissioned with Goody Clancy for the first residence hall, starting the student life initiative at the University of Michigan.
