July 2013: The East Quad residential facility opens at University of Michigan
May 2013: Construction starts for the 7 Mile Building at Schoolcraft College, the 110,000 sq. ft. building will house Administrative Offices, classrooms and a future data center. Construction will be complete in September 2014.
Nov. 2, 2012: Teamed with HNTB on Breslin Student Events Center back in the late 1980s, IDS reached out again to them to partner on this $22M addition onto the student entrance of Spartan Stadium. Opening July 2014.
October 2012: University of Michigan’s South Hall is a 98,000-square-foot building that is fully sustainable and was awarded the highest rating—LEED Gold, by the U.S. Green Building Council.
September 2012: In conjunction with their 2012 “Imported from Detroit” advertising campaign, Chrysler wanted to enhance its corporate presence in the City with a commitment to help revitalize the downtown area. IDS was commissioned to help transform the top two floors of the historic 1912 Dime Building, now known as Chrysler House.
July 25, 2012: IDS kicked off this project with MSU, commissioning Jacobs Consultancy for lab planning, and bringing to life serendipity and energy of ideas from the many divergent viewpoints and experiences captured within this $60.8M building. Opening July 2016
June 2012: AIA Michigan selects Integrated Design Solutions as the 2012 Firm of the Year.
Feb. 27, 2012: was the kick-off for the last of the major residence hall renovations with Hanbury Evans Wright Vlattas, we are approaching this overhaul in a bit more sensitive redesign due to the building’s steep in historic significance. Beloved for its many memories, students will greet the August 2015 opening with fresh eyes and their ever-present wonder.
